Dr. Edward Goldman was born March 19, 1951. He grew up in Rochester, New York, and Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Goldman attended high school in New York City before leaving early to attend Columbia University. After finishing his undergraduate degree at California State University in Los Angeles, he received his Masters degrees in Political Science and Education. Dr. Goldman received his doctorate degree from UNLV. Dr. Edward Goldman cares about children and doing the right things for them. After 27 years working for the Clark County School District, most recently as Associate Superintendent, he has a vested interest in our children’s future. Dr. Goldman wants to give back to our community and improve our school district. |

Dr. Goldman wants to utilize technology to improve our classrooms. He wants to do a better job of screening teachers and school staff to prevent child molesters from being hired. Dr. Edward Goldman is the only candidate with a plan to better manage our schools' dwindling resources to cope with our budget crisis.
Dr. Edward Goldman’s plan is energy efficient and will use our existing resources year round to accomplish our goals while maintaining your children’s summer vacation. This will enable us to raise teacher’s salaries, and also decrease our over crowded classrooms.
Dr. Edward Goldman is concerned about the safety of our children, and believes we need to be using metal detectors to screen for weapons. Dr. Goldman is the only candidate that understands our children’s safety and security starts with the construction of our schools. Dr. Edward Goldman is a parent that understands keeping even 1 child from being hurt is money well spent.
Dr. Edward Goldman’s plan will not raise your property taxes or the gaming tax. Dr. Goldman believes we need more accountability and less policy governance. We need more appropriate allocation of bond resources. We need a candidate for change like Dr. Edward Goldman to be responsible for our children’s future.
